Age policy
Last updated: 12 September 2026
Two separate spaces
Minors may dine in the restaurant with a responsible adult, subject to service times. They may not enter, cross, wait inside or observe from the casino salon. The rule applies even during private events.
Why the limit is strict
Gambling exposes participants to financial risk and requires legal capacity to understand a stake. A parent’s permission, family celebration or intention only to watch cannot create an exception.
Identification
Staff may request an original, valid government-issued photographic document such as a national identity card, passport or residence permit. Screenshots, informal copies, damaged documents or another person’s assurance may be rejected.
How checks work
Staff compare the photograph, birth date, validity and basic consistency. The document is returned immediately. Admission on an earlier visit does not remove the possibility of a new check.
Refusal
Where age or identity cannot be confirmed, salon entry is refused without compensation for that decision. Lending a document, misrepresenting age or helping a minor enter can lead to immediate exclusion.
Groups and private events
Organisers must tell guests that the casino activity is 18+ and optional. A guest list does not replace individual checks. Events including minors require real separation and continuous adult supervision in restaurant areas.
Near the eighteenth birthday
Access begins only on the exact date a person turns 18. A future booking made earlier is not advance permission and remains subject to identification on arrival.
Adult responsibility
An adult must not stake for a minor, relay the minor’s choices, pass chips or attribute a result to them. A minor must never be left unattended while an accompanying adult enters the salon.
Online age message
The website gate records a local preference only. It is not an identity check or entry authorisation. Adults should use parental controls and separate browser profiles on shared devices.
Data minimisation
ID checks are normally visual. We do not routinely copy documents or create marketing records from birth dates. If law or a documented incident requires a report, only necessary information is retained with restricted access.
Questions or concerns
Report a concern to the duty manager or info@labellecuisinefr.com. Do not email an ID copy unless we explicitly provide a secure reason and method. Last updated: 12 September 2026.
Documents normally considered
An original passport, national identity card or valid residence permit with a clear photograph and date of birth will normally support a check. A damaged document, screenshot, informal copy or image stored on another person’s phone may be refused. Staff can request a different official document when authenticity or ownership is uncertain.
Check procedure
The guest presents their own document and answers reasonable questions directly. Staff compare the photograph, birth date, expiry and basic consistency, then return the document. A previous visit does not exempt anyone from a later check, and website age confirmation is never a substitute for identification.
Private dinners and mixed-age groups
Organisers must separate the restaurant plan from any 18+ salon plan. A list of invitees does not prove age. When minors attend dinner, an adult remains responsible for them in permitted areas and cannot leave them unattended while entering the salon.
Prohibited adult assistance
An adult must not stake on a minor’s behalf, carry out the minor’s choice, pass chips, share a table position or attribute a result to them. Attempts to lend identification or disguise age can lead to exclusion of the people involved.
Online protection
Adults responsible for shared devices should use separate browser profiles, parental controls and appropriate content settings. They should not describe casino games to minors as an income opportunity or allow a minor to operate an adult’s account or identity.
Incidents and records
Routine checks are visual and documents are not copied. If suspected fraud, a safety incident or a legal obligation requires a report, only relevant information is recorded, access is restricted and retention is limited to what is necessary.
Review and complaint
A refusal made for age protection remains effective for that visit while any later complaint is reviewed. Write to info@labellecuisinefr.com with the date and facts, but do not attach an identity document unless a secure method and clear reason are provided.
Restaurant reservations do not verify age
Providing a birth date in an email, booking an adult menu or attending with older guests does not authorise salon entry. Verification happens separately and can occur even when the team knows the organiser or has welcomed the guest to the restaurant before.
Document authenticity concerns
Staff are not required to resolve uncertainty in the guest’s favour. Signs of alteration, mismatch, expired validity or unclear ownership can result in refusal. A guest should not hand over another person’s document or ask staff to accept a photograph because the original was forgotten.
Waiting and circulation
A minor refused access may remain only in restaurant or public areas where their responsible adult can supervise them. They cannot wait at the salon threshold, move through the room to reach another area, handle chips or receive updates about live play.
Marketing and conversation
Team members do not market casino participation to minors or present gambling as glamorous income. Adults should avoid asking a minor to select numbers, predict results or celebrate a stake placed “for them,” even when no money changes hands directly.
Training and escalation
Relevant staff receive instruction on the 18+ rule, respectful document checks, privacy and escalation. A supervisor can review uncertainty, but commercial pressure, group status or a private booking cannot override the legal and safety purpose of the policy.
Repeated attempts
Trying another entrance, returning without new evidence or asking a different employee after refusal may be treated as circumvention. The decision applies to the visit unless a supervisor resolves a genuine document misunderstanding.
Policy review
We review procedures when law, official guidance or venue layout changes. Feedback about clarity and respectful treatment is welcome, but the protection standard will not be reduced to avoid inconvenience.
